Characteristics
This fresh, light-coloured rosé is made from Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Tannat and Colombard.
WINEMAKING TECHNIQUES
Our expertise in Sauvignon Blanc allows us to apply a similar process to rosé, achieving a very pale and fruity example in the Les Fumées Blanches style. Harvests by machine, between 4 a.m. and 9 a.m., to take advantage of the cool temperatures and limit oxidation phenomena. Direct pressing in low-pressure pneumatic presses (light extraction to achieve this pale colour). Wine stabilisation on the lees. Winemaking at controlled temperatures as for white wines, in order to reveal the grape’s natural aromas.
